Celeste Williams
Celeste and her husband chose to leave Dayton Children's in their estate plan because "We believe every child deserves access to exceptional healthcare, no matter their circumstances," she says.
By making a planned gift, and recommending it be for pharmacy education, they can help ensure that future generations receive the compassionate, life-saving care that Dayton Children's is known for: Care provided by knowledgeable teams who are engaging in learning and growing to stay at the forefront of evidence-based medical care. "It's our way of giving back."
Celeste is the Pharmacy Education Coordinator at Dayton Children's Hospital. She coordinates all the student rotations from pharmacy schools and precepts the pharmacy residents for their required general pediatrics rotation.
As a pharmacy educator, she sees every day how important it is to invest in the future — not just in terms of medication and treatment, but in knowledge, innovation, and training for the next generation of healthcare providers.
Including Dayton Children's Hospital in her estate plans is how she and her husband hope to provide for the times ahead. "For us, giving back through estate planning is a way to contribute to both the future of pediatric care and the future of pharmacy education. It means that long after we're gone, we will still be helping children heal and helping young professionals grow into the caregivers our patients deserve. We talk about leaving the world better than we found it and this is how we hope to accomplish that. I hope others here will see it as a meaningful way invest in a better future too."
